South Lake Union
Moving to Seattle? What is South Lake Union like?
South Lake Union stands as a singular address where urban sophistication meets Puget Sound’s watery edge. Framed by the blue expanse of Lake Union to the north and cradled by sweeping skyline views, the neighborhood commands both serenity and pulse. Public spaces are simply exceptional: meander through Lake Union Park with its lakefront promenades, kayak launches, and the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) anchoring its shoreline. Lake Union Park children’s splash areas, public beach, and access to the bike trails that wrap around Lake Union; while Denny Park offers shade and grass lawns steps from many offices. Hip restaurants and bars offer tons of dining options. In SLU, you’ll find a refined urban retreat that trades off nothing in comfort, and delivers nature and connectivity at your doorstep.

Yes! What, am I going to say no? Not in this urban area! Moving into a condo in South Lake Union is an excellent way to live (and work) in a newer, urban, exciting location. Also, condos are typically maintenance-free and we are seeing a lot of younger career-focused and older populations who want the maintenance-free lifestyle of condos. Much less work than owning a house but still have the joy of improving something that is growing in value! South Lake Union also has a great rental market should you want to rent it out later to upgrade to a larger home.
